Local gas station sells jackpot winner

MANSFIELD, Ohio (WJW) –  “I thought I was dreaming.”

Lucky for James Osgar, it was no dream.

The lottery ticket he bought was a winner. A big one!

Osgar won $100,001 in Saturday’s Rolling Cash 5 drawing, according to the Ohio Lottery .

The lucky ticket was purchased at Quick Mart, located at 563 S Diamond St in Mansfield.

The winning numbers were 10-18-24-36-39, all of which Osgar selected himself.

After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, Osgar will take home approximately $72,000.

Osgar plans to use his winnings to help others, contribute to charity, and continue playing the lottery.

The Rolling Cash 5 jackpot starts at $100,000 and grows every time there isn’t a 5 of 5 winner.

The increase is based on sales or a minimum of $10,000, whichever is greater, says the Ohio Lottery.

The odds of hitting the Rolling Cash 5 jackpot are 1 in 575,757.
