Liberty Local School District names new superintendent

LIBERTY, Ohio (WKBN) – The Liberty Local School District has named its next superintendent.

Brian Knight will begin the position on August 1, a school spokesperson confirmed.

He has been working as a principal at the high school and as the district’s Title IX coordinator.

Knight fills the position left vacant by Dr. Andy Tommelleo, who announced his retirement effective January 31 . Debbie Mettee has been in the position in the interim.
