SHARON, Pa. (WKBN) — Allie’s Sweet Tooth is hosting a pop-up shop Saturday at its soon-to-be-open location in downtown Sharon.

Owner Allie Zajaros-Adams is getting ready to officially open her bakery in the former Army-Navy building on East State Street, which has sat vacant since 2015.

Allie says her bakery will offer more than just “sugar and spice and everything nice,” with plans in the works for marketplaces, classes, kids camps, speakers and collaborative events.

The Mother’s Day Marketplace runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will feature 12 local vendors — with all but one being mothers themselves.

“I’m a mom of four girls, so I think that supporting other moms and businesses — and any entrepreneur, really — but especially the moms have a soft spot in my heart because I know how hard it is and I know how hard we work to do what we do,” Allie said.

The first 100 moms/grandmas/step-moms will receive special packets of seeds provided by Lots to Love Sharon. There will also be a giveaway for a $25 gift card for Allie`s Sweet Tooth.
