Lakeview secures spot in district title game

LEAVITTSBURGH , Ohio (WKBN) – Lakeview softball beat LaBrae in the Division Three District Semifinals in five innings, 14-1 at Labrae High School Tuesday.

Lakeview’s Isabella Isenberg struck out five batters, allowing two hits and one run. She also helped drive in two runs in the win.

Hallie Capan led Lakeview with three runs batted in. Lakeview’s Kennedy Bartlett also had three hits in three at-bats, driving in two runs.

The Bulldogs scored nine runs in the second inning in the win.

LaBrae’s Nalena Page drove in the Vikings sole run. Shelby Bragg and Mariah Jones also each had one hit for the Vikings.

Lakeview advances to the District Final against Champion at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 16.
