Academy for Urban Scholars to host career fair

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Anyone looking for career and networking opportunities will have a chance to explore options at an upcoming career fair.

The Academy for Urban Scholars High School is hosting the fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 30 at the John H. Gregory Workforce & Education Center at 139 E. Boardman St. in Youngstown.

Scholars, parents, educators and the community are invited to meet with employers and learn about different industries, jobs, internships and education programs. The fair will feature leading companies from the Mahoning Valley and representatives from career and technical training institutions.
