Sharon Historical Society hosts walking tour of East Hill mansions

SHARON, Pa., (WKBN) – Those who have wondered what Sharon’s historic East Hill mansions look like inside will have the opportunity to check them out Saturday.

The Sharon Historical Society will host the East Hill mansions walking tour from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The tour is not guided and is an “explore at your own pace” but maps will be provided.

There are 5 houses on the tour which does include some steep hills.

A $10 donation is paid at the Wallis Mansion, the new home of the historical society.

I've taken this tour before and it's not what you think. These "mansions" are all in severe disrepair and in the process of renovation. Most definitely not what one would think they will see when taking a mansion home tour.
