New Hawaiian restaurant opens in Warren

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — Hawaiian food has returned to Warren with the grand opening of Nico’s Hawaiian Grill Wednesday morning.

The restaurant is located in the building of the former Get Seom Aloha restaurant on Mahoning Avenue.

Nico’s owner Patrick Nicopolis was a regular customer of the previous restaurant and wanted to bring something similar back to the city.

“Here we are now. The Lord blessed us and we’re here, and we’re not going anywhere,” Nicopolis said. “Hopefully, you know, the next couple years it pans out and we can open another location in another area.”

Nico’s Hawaiian Grill is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
