    West Branch Baseball cruises to district crown

    LOUISVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – West Branch rolled past Geneva 9-1 in the Division II baseball district final on Wednesday at Louisville High School.

    Anthony Perry drove in three runs in the win. He also tossed a complete game, allowing one unearned run, with six strikeouts.

    Jeremiah Thomas drove in a pair of runs, including an RBI triple.

    Boston Mulinix, Hunter Shields, and Anthony Perry tallied two hits apiece in the victory.

    With the win, West Branch improves to 23-6 overall on the season.

    The Warriors advance to face Ursuline in the Division II Regional Semifinals on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium in Canton.

    The Warriors and Irish faced off in regular season action back in March. West Branch came away with a 3-0 win.
