He originally signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft but was released in June.

Last season at SRU, Sheets was named First Team All-American after piling up 76 receptions for 1,186 yards and 17 touchdowns.

His 17 touchdowns ranked him in the top 10 of all players across all college football divisions.

The standout wide receiver was named First Team All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference twice during his college career.

Sheets also piled up 2,440 receiving yards, which was fourth-best in program history.

His 29 career touchdowns are the third most in Slippery Rock football history.
