MCCTC awarded grant to further adult education opportunities

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – The Mahoning County Career & Technical Center Adult Career Center has been awarded a grant to help provide services to adults in Mahoning and Columbiana counties.

The Aspire Adult Workforce Education Readiness Grant will help provide several services, including basic math, writing and reading instruction, and high school and college preparation courses.

The MCCTC Adult Career Center in Canfield will hold an Aspire kick-off open house on Thursday. It runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It’s free and open to the public.
