YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Sentencing will be at a later date for a Brunswick man who pleaded guilty Thursday in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court to breaking into an Austintown muffler shop.

Zachary Abdallah, 23, entered pleas before Judge Maureen Sweeney to fifth-degree felony charges of breaking and entering and possession of criminal tools.

Prosecutors are recommending he be sentenced to probation and make restitution for any damage he did.

Abdallah was charged with a March 16 break-in at the shop. Police were called by an employee who told them he was watching the break-in from another location on security cameras.

Police arrived and found several auto parts in a van at the scene, reports said. Reports said Abdallah told police he was taking the items because he did not have a job, reports said.
