LISBON, Ohio (WKBN)- A statement made by a Columbiana County man accused of killing his wife is allowed to be used in court.

Christopher Morrison was back in court on Thursday.

According to our print partners at the Morning Journal , Columbiana County Common Pleas Court Judge Megan Bickerton denied the motion to suppress the statement.

The comment in question involves when prosecutors asked Morrison quote “So you knew where she was. You shot her, chopped her up and left her in the shed.” Morrison replied “yes”.

He faces several charges, including aggravated murder. The jury trial is set to begin September 17.
