YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — A Warren man Thursday was indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury for pushing a woman in downtown Youngstown.

Whittington Davis, 37, was indicted on a count of felonious assault, a second-degree felony and obstructing official business, a second-degree misdemeanor.

Davis has been in the county jail since his July 6 arrest by city police on a warrant.

Reports said a woman told police she was in the 200 block of West Federal Street on July 2 when a man, later identified as Davis, pushed her and she fell to the ground.

The woman had to be taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center to be examined, reports said. Reports said she injured her wrist when she fell.
