FARRELL, Pa . (WKBN) – WKBN concludes its triple header of high school football tonight with a battle between district champions from last year – Hickory takes on Farrell.

Hickory went with a run-heavy first possession that was aided by long runs by Kelvin Morrison, Jamal Calhoun and quarterback Zander Telesz. The big play of the opening drive was a 4th-and-10 pass play from Telesz to his tight end Trevor Borowicz for first down yardage.

To conclude the drive, Telesz converted on a 3rd down from the 2-yard line on another pass play to Borowicz for the game’s opening score. The drive used up over six minutes.

After a miscue by the Farrell punting unit, Hickory took over at the Steeler 29-yard line.
