    3 Honzu TD’s leads Howland to shutout win

    HOWLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – An early start to the season was no problem for the Howland Tigers. Davae Honzu found the endzone three times, while the defense pitched a shutout in a 28-0 victory Thursday night over Niles.

    After a scoreless first quarter, the Tigers got three scores in the second frame with two coming from Honzu and another from Luca Fronzaglio to take a 21-0 lead into halftime.

    Honzu finished the night with 130 rushing yards on 26 attempts to go with three touchdowns.

    Niles (0-1) will host Holy Name in Week 2. Howland (1-0) will visit Poland .
