Water Department on scene of water main break on South Side

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Water department crews worked on a water main break Friday at Lucy and Helena avenues on the South Side.

Water was starting to bubble through the pavement and sidewalks.

Neighbors said the water started flowing about 9 a.m.

Streets in the area are expected to be blocked off. There was no word when the line would be fixed and service to that neighborhood would be fully restored.
