BELOIT, Ohio (WKBN) – Two West Branch seniors, Anthony Perry and Boston Mulinix , made their way into the Warriors’ record books on Friday night during the team’s 27-7 win over Canfield .

It was Perry’s first when he booted a record-long 48-yard field goal as time expired in the first half, breaking the former best of 45 yards from Bo Beagle.

“I mean, it’s something to be in the record books here. There’s just such a rich tradition and everybody knows that, so I’m blessed and truly honored to be in that,” Perry said. “I mean, I hit it, looked up and saw it was good, and walked off.”

Later in the game, running back Boston Mulinix broke the all-time rushing (45) and total touchdown record (48), a record previously held by Brenden Wells.

The Warriors improved to 1-0 on the season with the win and will next host Woodridge at home in Week 2.
