COLUMBIANA, Ohio (WKBN) – People filled Firestone Farms in Columbiana Saturday night for the fourth annual Community Appreciation Event.

People could enjoy music, food and prizes at the free event.

The night was sponsored by Cochran Columbiana Cadillac Chevrolet.

All proceeds will go to Angels for Animals.

“This is all for their medical care. When we adopt an animal out to you, it has all its vet care done. So even though we have our own vets, it’s still quite expensive — $400 for a cat, $700 to $1,000 to save every dog that we save,” said Diane Less, with Angels for Animals.

Angels for Animals will have its biggest public appearance of the year next week at the Canfield Fair.

If you would like to donate or adopt a pet, visit Angels for Animals’ website .
