    Former local athletic director passes away at 65

    WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — The former athletic director of the Warren School District has passed away at 65 years old, according to the school’s football website .

    Paul Trina was in the position from 1997 to 2014. He was also a math teacher, assistant principal at Warren G. Harding and a coach for several sports.

    According to the school’s football website, Trina grew up in Warren and played baseball, basketball, and was quarterback and point guard at Warren Western Reserve High School. He continued his football career as a quarterback at Findlay College.

    Trina was inducted into the Trumbull County Sports Hall of Fame as a sports administrator and for football in 2014, then retired and moved to Florida.
