Penguins soccer player named YSU Scholar Athlete of the Week

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Youngstown State University grad student Lianna Van Sice has appeared in 49 games over the her first four years at Youngstown State, and has started three games this season for the women’s soccer team.

Van Sice scored her first collegiate goal last year against Indiana State and finished the season with two goals and three assists in just 10 games.

This year, Van Sice scored the Penguins’ first goal of the season and has recorded four shots on goal through the first three games.
