YBI announces this year’s ‘Shark Tank’ competitors

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Youngstown Business Incubator (YBI) announced the five companies that will be participating in this year’s “Shank Tank” fundraiser.

The companies were selected from over 70 applicants. They will pitch their ideas to the judges to compete for a prize pool, starting at $30,000.

According to YBI, the participants are:

• A Fresh Wind Catering: A woman- and minority-owned business located in the Commonwealth Kitchen Incubator in Youngstown, and on location with a new food truck. Owner and operator Trina Williams prepares fresh, delicious food, unique gourmet egg rolls, and catering for every kind of event.
• ARMA: The ARMA glove is the first custom-fit glove designed to eliminate sweat, kill 99.9% of germs upon contact, and withstand washing with soap and water for prolonged use for a diverse range of users (e.g., athletes, food service workers, and medical professionals)
• GeoFlow ai: An AI platform continuously updates trillions of organizational facts and relationships sourced from billions of websites.
• Spokbee: From 7 Weeks to 7 Seconds – AI for pricing customizable products – a CLE-based software developer whose product uses AI to help manufacturers configure and sell engineered products online.
• Yo! Crash: Ohio’s only Mobile Rage Room dedicated to purposefully and constructively releasing aggression in a fun and safe environment. Customers can take their growing frustrations out on everyday devices and breakables by therapeutically destroying the content within a confined space for an allotted time. Yo! Crash offers a safe, judgment-free space to commit pleasurable havoc.

The event will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. Tickets can be purchased on YBI’s website .
