AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN)- Police said that a suspect responsible for reported car thefts and a burglary on Saturday is in custody.

Austintown Police District said on Facebook that the person was arrested on Saturday after police responded to several reports of theft from autos, an auto theft, and a burglary.

Police said that these incidents occurred in several neighborhoods off of New Road in the early morning hours of Saturday. Police said that the person of interest was arrested on an unrelated warrant and they later determined that person was responsible for all the reported cases.

Officers said in the post that additional charges are being filed.
