Bill Siwicki, the owner of Howland Pizza Works, announced on Facebook on Wednesday that the pizza shop is officially closed. The shop was located on the 7000 block of East Market Street in Howland.

    Siwicki said in a statement:

“Howland Pizza Works has been an amazing success. For 46 years we were blessed to call Howland home. We were able to give back to the community in a way we never could have dreamed of. What organization weren’t we blessed to be a part of in this almost half century. The love we received was incredible. We were able to meet spouses, raise families, buy homes, make amazing lifelong friendships, take vacations, and plan for retirements. Too many experiences to list! So many friends and family to thank.”

The restaurant said that the other location, Hubbard Pizza Works, remains open.
