CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – Ohio Senate candidate Bernie Moreno visited the Canfield Fair on Monday.

He took pictures with supporters before answering some questions in front of the crowd, saying he made the stop because Mahoning County is “the most important county in this election.”

He also said he believes that IVF is something that all Republicans can support. Moreno also mentioned his support of union workers and immigration policy.

“We’re going to drive up the score here in Mahoning County and Trumbull County. We’re going to make certain we’re always present, not just when I’m running. I’m going to be here because look, Ohio’s a lot more than Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati. Places like the Valley don’t get enough attention,” he said.

When asked if he would debate his opponent ahead of the election, Moreno said he would debate Sherrod Brown “any time, any place, anywhere.”
