WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A defendant who was arrested following a chase that led to a crash into a utility pole received his sentence in the case on Tuesday.

Kalebh Brady, 19, will spend three years on probation and was also ordered to spend 30 days in the Trumbull County Jail, with credit for the time already served. Brady will also have to undergo drug and alcohol testing and perform 80 hours of community service.

The sentence follows Brady’s guilty plea to an amended indictment on a charge of attempted failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a fourth-degree felony, in June.

Police arrested Brady and another suspect, Timmon Wade, after they tried to pull over a vehicle for reckless driving on Youngstown Road in Warren on Jan. 24, according to a police report.

According to the report, this led to a police chase ending in a crash into a utility pole on Francis Avenue. Police said Wade and Brady then ran from the area and were apprehended nearby.

Brady was identified as the driver by police.

Wade, the passenger, was sentenced in February to three years of probation after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct, criminal damaging and a misdemeanor assault charge.

Michael Reiner contributed to this report.
