AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Thursday 13 veterans were honored at the annual Patriot’s Day in Austintown.

The event began with skydiver Ben Kellogg jumping from a plane with the American flag. Then the Austintown Fitch High School choir sang.

“It’s an honor to be here. A lot of my brothers I served with in Vietnam didn’t get the chance to grow old and gray like the rest of us. So it’s an honor to honor these people,” said Kenneth David with the DAV

David has been honored at Patriot’s Day before and served in Vietnam in the Army in the late 60s and early 70s. He comes out every year to support other veterans.

The Austintown Fire Department was also there in support.
