1 dead, 4 injured in Lawrence County shooting; suspect arrested

ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. (WKBN) — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a shooting from Saturday morning in Lawrence County.

According to a press release from PSP, shortly before 2 a.m., five people were shot at Breakers Pub in Ellwood City after a physical altercation; one person, who was later identified as 37-year-old Crystal Wawrzynski, died from their injuries on the scene.

Two victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, one sustained a serious injury and one was shot inside their nearby apartment and was last listed in stable condition.

Police have arrested Nathan Joseph Fink, 40, of Harmony, and says he acted alone.

According to the release, after Fink had a physical altercation with bar patrons, he was escorted to leave the premises when he grabbed a rifle and handgun from his vehicle and opened fire, striking multiple vehicles, and penetrating the main entrance door, striking victims inside.

Fink has been charged with criminal homicide and reckless endangering another person and was arraigned on Sunday. He was placed in the Lawrence County Jail and is being held without bond.
