    Pedestrian struck by car, seriously hurt at Blossom

    CUYAHOGA FALLS , Ohio (WJW) — A pedestrian was struck by a car at Blossom Music Center on Friday night, according to authorities.

    It happened at about 11 p.m., according to a Sunday news release from Summit County Sheriff Kandy Fatheree.

    The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital by city firefighters, according to the release. The car left the scene.

    Anyone who has information on the crash is urged to call the Summit County Sheriff’s Office at 330-643-2147 or 330-643-2181.

    Performing that Friday night were Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan and Girlfriends, according to the venue’s schedule.
