AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – U.S. Marshals announced Monday that dozens of children had been rescued as part of “Operation Homecoming.”

According to a press release, Marshals joined the Akron Police Department and Summit County Sheriff’s Office to help find missing and endangered children.

Thirty-two missing children between the ages of 13 and 18 were recovered, according to U.S. Marshals.

Some of the missing children were recovered in the Akron area, others in Cleveland, and one child, who was reported missing in 2022, was safely located in Washington state, according to the release.

No further information on the operation was released.

Anyone with information on a missing person or a wanted fugitive is asked to call the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED.

Thank God, they were all found safe; without any harm. I really hope they find the ones that are responsible for this so they won't be able to do that again.

Thank God, they were found. They have a long hardroad ahead of them to recover. Praying that they all had safe night at home with their families. Hope they all get the help and support that they will need.
