BUTLER COUNTY, OHIO ( WTRF ) Officers successfully wrangled an escaped emu in southwestern Ohio in July, newly-released footage shows.

Bodycam footage released by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office on September 6 shows deputies and Animal Control officers corralling an emu named Sally back into her enclosure in Butler County, Ohio, in mid-July.

“OPOTA [Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy] didn’t teach us emu corralling in the last online training,” a deputy can be heard saying in the footage.
