    Warren police investigating gunshots, shell casings in apartment parking lot

    WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — Warren police responded to a caller hearing gunshots on Friday afternoon.

    It happened in the 500 block of Southern Boulevard around 1:30 a.m. The caller said they heard about four gunshots in the area.

    Police located shell castings in a parking lot behind an apartment. Two live rounds were found as well.

    Officers did not find any damage in the area nor were any nearby hospitals treating gunshot victims at the time of the call.

    Police are still investigating.
