Toney, who was a member of two Super Bowl-winning teams with the Chiefs, was waived by the Chiefs at the end of training camp on Aug. 27.

He attended a workout with the Seattle Seahawks last week.

Last season, Toney caught 27 passes for 169 yards with one touchdown in 13 games with Kansas City.

He has appeared in 32 career NFL games, piling up 82 receptions for 760 yards and 3 touchdowns.

He was originally selected by the New York Giants in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft.
