    Farrell native commits to major college football program

    ORLANDO, Florida (WKBN) – Danny Odem, a Farrell native and current football standout at The First Academy in Orlando, Florida, announced his commitment to the University of North Carolina.

    Odem, a standout defensive back, made the announcement on social media on Monday night.

    In three games with the Royals this season, Odem has piled up 24 total tackles and one interception.

    Last season at Farrell, he caught 47 passes for 600 yards and 7 touchdowns. He piled up 716 all-purpose yards with 9 total touchdowns.

    In addition to UNC, Odem also had offers from Ole Miss, Central Florida, Liberty, Jacksonville State, and Robert Morris.
