    Vienna Township trustees vote to replace fire chief

    VIENNA, Ohio (WKBN) – The Vienna Township Trustees voted Monday to replace fire chief Richard Brannon who will resign as of Sept. 17.

    According to Vienna Trustee Phil Peg, replacing Brannon as interim chief will be former Liberty Fire Chief Gus Birch.

    Assistant Chief Mike Hagood will act as interim chief until Oct. 7 at which time Birch will take over.

    Also Monday night, Mark Haddle was named EMS director. Haddle is the brother of Vienna Trustee Mike Haddle who abstained from voting.
