    Cleveland school closed after threat of attack on students

    CLEVELAND (WJW) – The Cleveland Arts and Social Sciences Academy is closed on Tuesday due to a threat.

    The school, which is located on Shaker Boulevard, told Fox 8 News they received information that there may be an attack on middle school students and school management advised them to close.

    In a p ost on Facebook , the school caller it an “emergency closing” and said it was for the “safety and security” of staff and students.

    The Facebook post said, “Good evening CASSA families, per our superintendent, there will be an emergency closing for tomorrow, September 10, 2024, for the safety and security of staff and scholars. Thank you for your understanding.”

    The school has more than 400 elementary and middle school students as well as 40 employees.

    Crazy Elyria city schools still had school at what expense do you realize we have to make changes. Stop sending kids to school until this is under control. this shit is SAD.
