WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — A Warren man charged with damaging property in a neighborhood adjacent to the Trumbull County Country Club was sentenced Tuesday.

Christopher Heltzel pleaded guilty to criminal damaging and was fined $100. A jail sentence was suspended and he was put on probation for two years. He will also have pay $90 in restitution and get mental health help.

Heltzel was arrested in August after police say he damaged mailboxes along County Club Drive in Warren.

Police said he damaged at least 16 mailboxes, but the sentencing only included restitution for one and a no-contact order for the victim.
