    Unattended fire spreads, shuts down road in Beaver Township

    BEAVER TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – Multiple fire crews were called out to a large wood pile on fire in Beaver Township Tuesday afternoon.

    According to Beaver Township Fire, it started when a small fire was left unattended. The fire spread to a pile of firewood that was about 3 to 4 years old.

    Roughly an acre was burnt up and about a mile-long portion of South Avenue was blocked off.

    No one was hurt.
