COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A child was recovered safely when Columbus police located them and a stolen vehicle Tuesday.

Columbus police said at around 3:12 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Dennison Avenue on reports of a stolen vehicle with a five-year-old inside. The mother said someone stole her vehicle, which her child was inside of, while it was running.

At around 4:21 p.m., officers recovered the vehicle at the Mount Carmel College of Nursing in Franklinton. When they approached the car, they found the child inside of it.

The child did not have any injuries, according to dispatchers. No suspects are in custody at this time.

okay number one why would the mother leave the car running with a child inside of it that invites trouble right there number two if she was doing something she should have taken her child out of the car locked the door took the child with her then this would not have happened seriously 🤬
