Helicopter, drone search for missing man in Mahoning County

LOWELLVILLE, Ohio (WKBN)- The report of a missing person prompted police, troopers, and sheriff’s deputies to search an area of Lowellville early Thursday morning.

Police were in the area of Kennedy Road around 1 a.m. after hearing a report of a missing man.

The Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office used its drone to help in the search, as well as Ohio State Highway Patrol’s thermal helicopter.

The scene cleared just before 2 a.m. There is no word yet on if they found the man or his condition.
