Popular playground reopens following maintenance

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – The Walnut Grove Playground in Canfield is back open.

It was closed earlier this week for cleaning and maintenance, which included applying a sealant to the rubber surface to make sure it’s ready for the upcoming season.

Officials say the playground is now safe to use but ask visitors to be careful because slipping may be a risk in areas where the glue was put on a bit heavy.

If you’re at the playground and notice any issues, you’re asked to contact Walnut Grove staff.
