Two people rescued from Boardman house fire

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Firefighters said two people were rescued from a Boardman house fire late Thursday night.

Firefighters were called to Shadyside Drive in Boardman shortly before midnight.

When they first arrived, crews saw smoke coming from an upstairs window, according to a police report. First responders rescued one person in the house and one person on the roof.

Firefighters said there were no injuries.

Crews did not say what caused the fire.
