Dispute over car repairs leads to shooting on South Side of Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A dispute over car repairs at an auto repair shop on the South Side led to a shooting Friday afternoon.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. at a shop on South Avenue.

Youngstown police say a male employee of the repair shop on South Avenue was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay.

According to the police, the suspect ran from the scene.

Anyone with information should call Youngstown Police.
