East Palestine’s off to best start in 15 years

LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) – East Palestine is off to its best start since 2009 (5-0) following its 42-27 win over Lisbon to improve to 3-1.

Unofficially, the Bulldogs’ Owen Jurjavcic ran for 304 yards and scored 5 touchdowns. East Palestine, as a team, gained over 450-yards in the win.

Lisbon was paced by the rushing of Ashton Hinchliffe, who gained 94 yards on 14 carries and scored twice on the ground. Grant Minor threw for 100 yards and connected on a pair of touchdown passes (to Luke Kraft and Brady Lively).

East Palestine will take on Valley Christian on the road.

The Blue Devils (1-2) will play at Columbiana next week.
