Pedestrian in hospital after hit-and-run in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man is in the hospital after a hit-and-run on Youngstown’s North Side.

It happened in the 1100 block of Fifth Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Officials say the man is in stable condition.

Police are currently searching for the vehicle involved.

I hope he's ok, I would have stopped....but so many times I swerved at the last minute because people wear all black and don't walk on the sidewalk. this is my greatest fear is I won't see someone in time.
