LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) — Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal one-vehicle crash that happened Sunday morning, according to OSHP.

A press release stated that 30-year-old Brandon Barringer of Kensington died at a hospital from injuries after crashing around 3:30 a.m. on U.S. Route 30 near Mile Post 4 in West Township.

Barringer was traveling eastbound when his car crossed the center line and traveled off the left side of the road, the release stated. The vehicle struck an embankment, was turned over and Barringer was thrown from the car.

According to the release, Barringer was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. It also said, “Drugs and alcohol do appear to be a factor at this time.”
