KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WKBN) — NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero is reporting that the Kansas City Chiefs are hosting former Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt on a free agent visit on Tuesday.

The Chiefs are in need of depth at the running back after starter Isiah Pacheco suffered a fractured fibula.

Hunt started his career with Kansas City after the Chiefs selected him in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

He was waived by Kansas City in 2018 after video surfaced of him pushing a woman to the ground and then kicking her.

Hunt later signed with Cleveland prior to the 2019 season, spending five seasons with the Browns. He rushed for 411 yards and 9 touchdowns in his final season in Cleveland.

The 29-year-old has played in 91 career games, piling up 4,436 yards with 40 touchdowns. He has also amassed 226 receptions for 1,890 yards and 17 TDs.
