Crestview senior sets school record in win

COLUMBIANA, Ohio (WKBN) – Crestview senior Abby Emch set the school record for kills in a career in the Lady Rebels 3-0 (25-5, 25-13, 25-12) win over Cardinal Mooney on Monday night.

The previous record of 1,282 was set by Grace Auer in 2023. Emch currently has 1,285 kills in her career.

Emch finished with 14 kills and a block on the night. Lainy Auer added 11 kills, 5 aces, 10 digs, and a block in the win.

Sophia Stewart piled up 20 assists and 3 aces. Jayden Scheller added 2 blocks for Crestview.

With the win, Crestview improves to 11-0 overall on the season.

The Lady Rebels return to action on Tuesday on the road at Liberty.
