Springfield senior reaches career milestone in win

NEW MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Karigan Mullen recorded her 1,000th career assist in the Tigers 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-13) win over Brookfield on Monday night.

Mullen piled up 31 assists on the night in the victory.

Baelyn Brungard had 14 service points, 11 digs and 10 kills. Mariana Tuscano had eight aces, 12 digs and five kills.

Jameka Brungard added six digs and 16 kills, while Cali Matey had six digs and six kills on the night for Springfield.

MaRae Craigh led the way for Brookfield with 8 kills, 7 digs, and 3 blocks. Leah Wlodarski tallied 6 kills and 4 aces for the Lady Warriors.
