    Coroner identifies man who died in Columbiana County shooting

    WELLSVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – A man who died in a shooting in Columbiana County this week has been identified.

    The Columbiana County Coroner identified Robert Herron, 30, of Wellsville, as the victim.

    Wellsville Police Chief Eddie Wilson said the incident happened on 10th Street on Monday, September 9 between 11 p.m. and midnight. The coroner said Herron was pronounced dead around 12:30 a.m.

    The Wellsville Police Department said there are two persons of interest in the case.

    A cause of death will be given after autopsy results, according to the coroner.

    Police said charges will be filed after further investigation and that this incident has been ruled a homicide.
