Coitsville police investigating death of man who was hit by truck in hotel parking lot

COITSVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) –Township police are investigating the death of a man who died after being hit by a pickup truck Sunday in the parking lot of a U.S. 422 hotel.

Police Chief Michael Morris said the man was hit about 9:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the King’s Hotel and died at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Morris said a woman who claimed to have been held against her will by the victim was driving the truck that hit the man.

Police impounded the truck for evidence.

No one has been charged yet. Morris said police are investigating the incident and the woman’s claims that she was being held against her will.
